It was World Hepatitis Day on 28th.
It is an opportunity for us to raise awareness about the virus and what vaccines are offered routinely to all babies.
The Hepatitis B vaccination (part of the 6 in 1 vaccine) is offered to children as part of the routine childhood immunisation programme. This is given at 8, 12 and 16 weeks of age and 18 months.
This series of vaccinations protects against future exposure risks and give long-term protection against Hepatitis B.
Help your baby stay safe against Hepatitis by getting vaccinated.
