This time last year we were fighting to improve the healthcare in Shrivenham by expanding our premises. We were not successful in this. This year we are fighting to continue the current level of healthcare.
There is a permit parking scheme coming to Shrivenham High Street in February 2025

The scheme if implemented will impact the number of appointments we can offer patients, staff will need to either
- move their car multiple times during the day
- park away from the High Street and walk in to work therefore starting later
We have calculated the impact and we will need to block between 16 and 22 appointments a day (depending on shift patterns). There will be weeks where we envisage losing 100+ appointments; this includes doctor, ACP, nurse, phlebotomy and physiotherapy appointments.
