News from Elm Tree Surgery
We welcome Dr Bader who has returned to practice as a salaried GP , he will be working every Wednesday and Friday from the end of August.
We have two new phlebotomists in training
Elizabeth and Gemma to support our nursing and HCA team which we hope to improve the availability of blood test
appointments.
We are continuing to monitor the new phone system which we have received positive feedback on.
We are still looking for land to use to build a new practice on please do let us know if anyone has any ideas.
The practice continues to have a high did not attend appointment count with over 300 appointments missed in July
The practice has received the results from the National Patient Survey, and we are currently reviewing the data to
compile a plan to develop the areas the survey has shown patients feel we need to work on.
Flu clinics
We are planning to run flu clinics at Shrivenham Memorial Hall in October, and we also looking at running Covid clinics for those eligible patients as well when offering flu vaccination .
